Make your farm look cool

Other than planting hay, there is something you can do in your farm while your animals are training or resting. And that is decorating!

DECORATING YOUR FARM

There are many objects on the list of decorating items, as you can see some on the picture.

The first ones will cost you gold bars, but further on the list there are some you can buy using Halter Dollars. When you are done looking at them all, choose one and place it on the farm, wherever you want. You can move the object at anytime, clicking on it and then on the MOVE BUTTON (see picture).

Brushing

Every now and then, your horses will ask for something: a scratch.

When the brush shows up over their heads, it's time to give them some royal treatment. Let's see how we do it, step-by-step:

THE "SCRATCH"

After selecting the horse that has a brusher hanging on top, the bottom menu will present a new option (see picture). Just click once on it and your mouse arrow becomes a brush.

Now just press the mouse left button on the horse and, actually, scratch it. Move the mouse back and forth, as if you were really brushing the horse's back. Do it a few times and, when you're done, some experience points will come at you.

If you liked it or if you have any questions about it, please leave a comment!

Signing up to Championships

Your horses are being trained for a reason: they will enter competitions and their rivals won't be easy to beat. So, after all the training, how do you put into practice all the progress you achieved?

THE OPTIONS

Before we have the championship signing up tutorial, we must analyse the options available on the bottom menu when we select a horse. They are:

TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS HORSE

It self explaining. You click on it to see all the details regarding physical health and personal data of your animal.

SIGN IN YOUR HORSE IN A CHAMPIONSHIP

Click here to join the competitions and earn money with the championship prizes. Further on this post, we'll see more about it.

TAKE ONE GAMETE OF THIS HORSE AND STORE IT ON YOUR GAMETES BANK

Storing gametes will demand some money, but will also get you some XP (experience) points. And, later on, you can sell the ones you stored.

SEND THIS HORSE TO THE HORSE MARKET

Once you send your horse to this Horse Market, just wait for a buyer. While the animals are waiting for someone to buy them, you get no money.

DONATE HORSE TO CHURCH

If a horse is being useless to you, or maybe just bringing you bad luck, at anytime you can donate them to church.

Now that we know about the options, let's take a close look at one of them:

SIGN YOUR HORSE IN A CHAMPIONSHIP

Once you click on the button that signs the horse in the championship, some events will be available for you to join. Each event will cost you some money to participate (that's the FEE), but wether reaching the first place or not, there will be a prize for all the competitors: money, gold bars or experience points.

Every competition starts at the moment there are 10 horses signed in. When it happens, a warning sign on the top right of your screen will indicate you can watch the match and see the podium.

Stressed Horses

If you don't treat them well, your horses might feel tired or stressed. But how do you know when they are? And what should we do to have them calm and ready to join competitions?

STRESSED HORSES

Whenever you see your animals holding three thunder bolts over their heads (see picture), it means they are stressed and need some rest. For this, you must start taking care of them really well: feed them correctly, always scratch them and don't exageratte on the exercising. When it's done, your horses will be ready to get back to the training field and the championships.

Breeding Pasture

One of the most amazing aspects of this game is the possibility of gathering the very best of two horses and generating a new one. That's breeding. It happens in reality and, of course, in the game as well. However, it doesn't happen anywhere. There is a special place in your farm to have them reproducing. And this is the Breeding Pasture.

BREEDING PASTURE

As you already start the game with some money, you can go to the MARKET (see picture) and check all of the interesting things your farm can have, from trees and cool decorations to treadmills and stalls.

Go further on the list of items and you'll find the BREEDING PASTURE, which is only for reproducing. You cannot plant hay or train your horses, there.

When you finish buying and placing your breeding pasture on your farm, bring a horse and a mare inside of it and just wait for them to get near each other and start... You know... Doing it (see picture). The mare may have the foal in 24 hours time and, voilá, you'll have a new horse to represent your farm in competitions all around!

Training your horses

This is what the game is all about, right? Having the best animals, winning competitions and becoming the greatest horse breeder on the web. So, here we'll have the step-by-step tutorial of how to train your horses in order to have them invincible and join competitions.

TREADMILL

The treadmill will have your horse exercising and doing some leg streching. All you have to do is place your horse on the machine and click on the button "ON" that is located on the bottom menu (see picture). The training takes 15 minutes, but you can stop at any time, clicking on "OFF".

Some tough competitors are waiting for you, so train them well! Oh, please leave a comment. :)

Earning money

It is pretty hard to take care of a farm all by yourself, right?

That's why we're here to give you some hints. In this post, you'll learn ways to make money on the game.

PLANTING HAY

While your horses are not trained enough to join competitions, a good way to make money out of your farm is planting hay. First, you need to buy yourself a PASTURE (see picture).

Then, on the bottom menu, four options will be available. The very first one is PLANT HAYWhen you click on this, make sure there are no horses on the pasture, otherwise you won't be able to plant any hay.

Now, click on PLANT HAY and see what happens: a countdown clock will start at 5:00. It means you'll have to wait for five minutes until your hay is ready to harvest (see picture). After that, the bottom menu where you found the PLANT HAY option before, now has a different button that says HARVEST HAY.

Click on it and your mouse arrow will become some blocks of collected hay (see picture). At first, you can place them on the pasture itself or on the stall you keep the horses. After you plant and harvest a couple of times, both are full of hay, and the option that is left to you is SELL HAY BALE. You can find it on the bottom menu, it's the only button.

And, bingo, that's where you get the money from. Did you like this hint? Great, now get your hands to work on your farm and grab some cash!
